EMISJA NOWYCH BANKNOTÓW 20 EURO

25 listopada 2015 Eurosystem zaczął wprowadzać do obiegu banknoty 20 euro z drugiej serii. Mają one odświeżoną szatę graficzną i zmodernizowane zabezpieczenia, w tym nowe „okienko z portretem”, zapewniające jeszcze lepszą ochronę przed fałszowaniem.

Z okazji emisji nowego banknotu i w celu jej nagłośnienia zorganizowano konkurs dla dzieci w grze EURO RUN, który będzie trwał od 25 listopada 2015 do 25 lutego 2016. Ukazał się także film „Przedstawiamy nowy banknot 20 euro”, dostępny w 23 językach.

Co warto wiedzieć o nowych banknotach 20 euro

 
1. Kiedy pojawią się nowe banknoty i gdzie będzie można je dostać?
Nowe banknoty dwudziestoeurowe zaczęły wchodzić do obiegu 25 listopada 2015. Będą się stopniowo pojawiać w bankomatach, bankach i sklepach.
 
 
2. Po co wprowadza się nowe banknoty?
Banknoty z serii „Europa”, w tym nowe 20 euro, mają zmodernizowane zabezpieczenia, zapewniające lepszą ochronę przed fałszowaniem. Na przykład na banknocie dwudziestoeurowym jest okienko z portretem: pod światło w górnej części hologramu ukazuje się przezroczyste pole, a w nim — twarz mitycznej Europy. Okienko widać na przedniej i odwrotnej stronie banknotu.

 
3. Ile nowych banknotów 20 euro wydrukowano?
Ponad 4,3 miliarda.
 
  
4. Czy nadal można płacić starymi banknotami 20 euro?
Tak: można używać i starych, i nowych banknotów. Banknoty z pierwszej serii zostaną stopniowo wycofane z obiegu, ale nie stracą swojej wartości — będzie je można bezterminowo wymieniać w banku centralnym swojego kraju.
 
  
5. Jak poznać, czy banknot jest prawdziwy?
Należy go sprawdzić DOTYKIEM, POD ŚWIATŁO i POD KĄTEM. Nie trzeba do tego żadnych narzędzi. Tutaj można znaleźć więcej informacji na ten temat.

LETTER OF INTENT

We wish to use the electronic media and/or print media produced by the European Central Bank (ECB) to inform others. We declare that:
1. Any information or materials received from the ECB will be used for information purposes only.

5. We pledge to follow the reproduction rules for euro banknotes and coins as published in the Official Journal of the European Union and available on the ECB’s website at www.ecb.europa.eu/euro/banknotes/reproduction/html/index.en.html.
6. If we use electronic media online, we will include a link to www.new-euro-banknotes.eu and we will inform the ECB of the material used and where it has been used. We will forward the links.
7. We understand that stocks of ECB materials for distribution are limited. We will inform the ECB of the number of copies distributed, the means of distribution as well as the target groups.
On behalf of the company/institution mentioned above, we declare that we will refrain from using any materials either in printed or electronic form provided by the ECB until our membership of the Partnership Programme has been confirmed.
We will be liable for any damages incurred by the ECB should we not act in accordance with this Letter of Intent. We also understand that the ECB reserves the right to terminate our membership at any time.
